PVDF membranes provide high surface area for strong hydrophobic interactions. PVDF membranes typically absorb 50% more protein than nylon or nitrocellulose membranes. This membrane has been optimized for Western transfer applications compatible with WESTERNVIEW™ Detection Kits or other chemiluminescent or chromogenic Western blot detection substrates.

Rabbit reticulocyte lysate at full stength, 1:3, and 1:10 dilutions. After SDS-PAGE, proteins were transferred to PVDF membranes. Membranes were stained with Amido Black stain for visualization of total protein.
